Effective Communication between Sellers and Realtors

Do you know that the real estate business is a people business and the way you communicate has a big impact on your success?

The most important aspect of a home selling process is a two-way communication between the seller and the real estate agent. The #1 complaint we hear from sellers is that they listed with a realtor and never heard from them again! It's advisable to have a conversation with your realtor telling him or her about what your communication preferences and expectations are. Ask them the following questions:

How often would you like your agent to be in touch with you?
What time of day is the most convenient for you to hear from them?
Would you prefer a call, text, or email with updates?

95% of realtors contact their sellers weekly with updates concerning the property and to answer any questions. Regular communication between parties is the key to a successful real estate transaction.
